Job description
At University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, an engaging role awaits in the demanding yet rewarding field of echocardiography. As an Advanced Clinical Physiologist, you'll partake in a dynamic environment encompassing Royal Derby Hospital, Queen’s Hospital Burton, and the new CDC. Your expertise in adult transthoracic echocardiograms will be invaluable as you independently perform, report, and lead in advanced cardiac ultrasound practices, such as stress echoes and speckle tracking. With the support to attend industry-leading BSE conferences and courses, you will collaborate with regional specialists, supporting paediatric and congenital heart disease clinics, while contributing to audits and research projects, ensuring excellence in patient care.
This opportunity is designed for women professionals aiming to excel in healthcare but offers a unique appeal to all seasoned carers committed to transforming patient outcomes. As part of our vision for unremittingly outstanding service, your role will encompass supervision, mentoring, and strategic organisation within a team striving for BSE’s stress echo accreditation. Whether on-call or rotating between sites, you’ll discover new pathways in advanced imaging modalities, enhancing both your expertise and the service’s reputation.
