As an Advanced Critical Care Practitioner with The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust at Russells Hall Hospital (Dudley DY1 2HQ) you will deliver expert clinical care to critically ill patients across Level 1–3 acuity. The role sits within the critical care medical rota and involves comprehensive assessment, requesting and interpreting diagnostics, initiating and managing treatment plans, undertaking invasive interventions within scope, safe prescribing (NMP) and providing clinical leadership and handovers. You will work autonomously where appropriate, apply evidence-based practice, participate in clinical audit and contribute to service improvement. This permanent Band 8a post offers a salary of £55,690–£62,682 and is available full- or part-time; applicants must be a qualified ACCP with an MSc in Advanced Practice, professional UK registration (NMC/HCPC/GpHC) and ALS provider status.
