Advance your caring career as an Advanced Health Care Assistant — Endoscopy with Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, based in Scunthorpe (DN15). This permanent, part-time/job-share Band 3 role (salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) supports a seven‑day endoscopy service and, once trained, participation in the out‑of‑hours emergency gastrointestinal on‑call roster. You will work alongside a multi‑disciplinary team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, admissions and recovery areas. The post includes a six‑month supported training programme to develop clinical skills and competence in decontamination of flexible endoscopes; endoscopy experience is desirable but not essential. Applicants should hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health or Social Care and have at least one year of health/social care experience; the role is subject to a DBS check.
