Take a senior clinical role as an Advanced Pharmacist specialising in sexual health and HIV with Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, based at Station Plaza Clinic or Avenues House Clinic in Hastings or Eastbourne (TN34 1NH). You will deliver holistic, evidence‑based pharmaceutical care to people using our services, support the Lead Specialist Pharmacist, prescribe where appropriate, develop service initiatives and run pharmacist‑led clinics. The role is patient‑facing and collaborative — you’ll work closely with patients, families and carers, act as a clinical role model and lead quality‑improvement activity across the service. Experience in HIV and sexual health is advantageous but not essential; specialist training will be provided for the right candidate.
This permanent, full‑time Band 8a post (salary £55,690–£62,682 pro rata) suits experienced pharmacists who want senior responsibility, a clear career pathway and flexible working that supports family or caring commitments. Essentials include GPhC registration, a master’s‑level qualification (or equivalent), and non‑medical prescribing (or near completion); the role requires a DBS check and the ability to travel between clinics (support available for candidates with disabilities). Kent Community Health is CQC‑rated outstanding and committed to diversity and inclusion.
