Advance radiotherapy research and clinical practice as an Advanced Practitioner Research & Development Therapeutic Radiographer with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at University College Hospital, 235 Euston Road, London NW1 2BU. You will lead the clinical implementation and day-to-day management of radiotherapy trials and the Evaluative Commissioning in Protons (ECIP) portfolio, drive service development projects with UCL academic partners, open and deliver radiotherapy clinical studies on time, and collate, analyse and disseminate findings locally, nationally and internationally through publications and presentations. This permanent, full-time Band 7 post (£56,276–£63,176 pa inclusive of HCAS) sits within a nationally recognised, flexible trust that champions women’s health and offers real scope to shape patient care, mentor colleagues and build an academic profile.

You’ll be a qualified therapeutic radiographer (BSc or equivalent) with current HCPC registration, significant postgraduate experience and proven leadership in planning and delivering a wide range of radiotherapy techniques. The role requires expertise in protocol implementation, database maintenance, audit and radiation protection (including unsealed source therapy), and the confidence to deliver training and present your work. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required, and Skilled Worker sponsorship applications are welcome; UK professional registration must be current.
