Step into a hands‑on leadership role at Birchgrove Surgery in Cardiff CF14 4QJ as Assistant Practice Manager, supporting the Practice Manager and providing clear, practical line management for the admin team. You will run the practice’s administrative operations day‑to‑day — overseeing appointment capacity, disease registers, subject access requests, SARs/GDPR and information governance, health & safety, IT liaison with DHCW, complaints handling and staff inductions and training. This permanent, full‑time post (£28,000–£32,000 DOE) suits someone with strong organisational, communication and IT skills, experience of leading a team and handling patient enquiries; NHS or GP practice experience is helpful but not essential, and training will be given for the right candidate.
