Job description
As Assistant Practice Manager at Crawley Road Medical Centre (Leyton, London E10) you’ll play a hands-on leadership role in a busy, patient-centred GP practice. You will support the Practice Manager by supervising non-clinical staff, coordinating rotas and diaries, handling patient queries and complaints, and contributing to audits, business planning and CQC/NHS compliance. The post requires confident day-to-day use of EMIS Web, strong administration and communication skills, plus experience of HR tasks such as recruitment, induction and staff appraisals. You’ll also help manage IT, premises and information governance, learn from Significant Event Audits, deputise when needed and undertake a DBS check. This is a permanent, full‑time role at £15 an hour with a view to increase after a successful probationary period.
