The post holder will be expected to work multi professionally, support other team member's roles and contribute to the future development of the service. post holder will respond to calls throughout Birmingham meeting UCR targets.
As a Senior nurse you will be able to demonstrate good leadership skills, the ability to manage change in clinical practice and processes. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to independently make sound clinical and leadership judgments and regularly supervise the workload of junior colleagues.
We are looking for people who are innovative, forward thinking, flexible and have strong leadership qualities. The candidate will have both clinical and operational responsibilities and an element of the role will be triaging and co-coordinating the shift. You must be able to confidently triage and priorities referrals and delegate to junior members of staff.
As part of your role there may be an expectation to work across the city on occasions, so candidates must be flexible.
Qualifications/ Experience required:Registered General Nurse with specialist practitioner degree in district nursing
