Job description
This Band 4 Governance Support Assistant post is a multi‑stranded administrative role within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Dental Division, based at Birmingham Dental Hospital & School of Dentistry, Pebble Mill, Edgbaston (B5). Working full‑time on a permanent contract (Agenda for Change Band 4, £27,485–£30,162), you will support the Divisional Governance Team and senior managers by coordinating mandatory training programmes, maintaining the training database and ESR records, triaging Datix incidents and complaints, producing reports for governance meetings, arranging meetings and minutes, and helping prepare documentation for CQC inspections. The role demands tact and empathy when handling sensitive communications with colleagues, patients and the public, and requires strong IT, organisational and prioritisation skills.
