As a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker with Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust in Edmonton (N18 1QX), you will work full time, permanently, as an essential member of a ward or department team under the supervision of registered nurses, midwives and allied health professionals. The role involves delivering hands-on patient care — personal hygiene and continence support, assisted eating and fluid monitoring, safe movement and handling, following care plans and documenting care, and reporting changes in a patient’s condition. You will help maintain patients’ dignity, cultural needs and involvement in decisions, contribute to ward organisation, prioritise daily tasks with qualified staff, and promote health education, working closely with the wider multi‑professional team.
