The Band 5 Staff Nurse position at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust involves being an integral part of the Nuclear Medicine Service, working within a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, clinical scientists, and technologists. Key responsibilities include patient assessment and care, particularly in cardiac stressing and paediatric services. The nurse will ensure patient safety during Nuclear Medicine procedures, provide informative support to patients and their families regarding the administration of radioactive materials, and participate in training for various procedures.

Additionally, duties require the staff nurse to represent the Nuclear Medicine department at meetings, assist in resolving complaints, and support higher-grade nursing staff with new techniques and protocols.
