Band 4: £26,530 to £29,114 a year pro rata  PERMANENT 

The post holder will work within the Postgraduate Office providing management and administration support for Study Leave and Expenses for the Trust.

The Trust recognizes that the continuing development, education and training of staff is essential if itis to achieve its service and business objectives.

Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with staff and external teams

Work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines

Process and handle complex data efficiently

Work independently and collaboratively

Understand and maintain confidentiality in daily work practices

Adhere to Trust guidance for admin systems for Medical Staff to apply for study leave electronically

Provide training to Medical Staff and new staff when required

Collaborate with Trust's Medical teams to design and deliver training tools

Ensure availability of content related to study leave for Medical Education teams

Regularly check and update electronic study leave systems, ensuring alignment with Trust and deanery policies, and report anomalies to the Manager

Ensure that accurate study leave information is accessible to Medical Staff across all systems

Support and process study leave expense claims, ensuring compliance with Trust guidelines and addressing claims that exceed limits

Interpret data from the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system and coordinate with other departments to clarify staff contract-related issues

Compile detailed monthly reports for ESR, payroll, and external organisations, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines

Assist with analytical data for ad-hoc reports for the Postgraduate Managers, and Medical Staff, ensuring relevance & accuracy

Suggest improvements for system accuracy and service delivery, ensuring secure, relevant data storage in line with legislation and policies
