Make a practical difference at St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich (IP3) as a Bank Domestic Assistant. You’ll be called for occasional shifts—planned or short notice—to cover full shifts or ad-hoc hours, including evenings and weekends. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control across the hospice and associated buildings: regular cleaning to schedules, laundry, restocking PPE, managing clinical and domestic waste, fridge checks, in-depth cleans, minor repairs, setting up meeting rooms, security duties and occasional portering tasks such as hospital runs and sample collections. You’ll work closely with the Catering & Domestic Team Leader to prioritise tasks and keep the environment safe for patients, families and staff.
