Drive clinicians safely across Cumbria as a Bank Driver based in Barrow-in-Furness (LA14) for Cumbria Health. You will provide out-of-hours transport from the Furness base, ensuring clinicians reach patients promptly and safely. Day-to-day duties include pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment checks, keeping technology charged and ready, using fleet tracking and sat-nav systems, assisting clinicians with equipment and chaperoning where needed, and helping manage prescription pads and controlled drugs in line with guidance. This is a bank role with flexible hours, covering evenings, weekends, nights and Bank Holidays to provide sickness and annual leave cover; pay is £12.21–£14.52 per hour depending on shift.
