Job description
Make a genuine difference as a Bank Healthcare Support Worker at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home in Caterham (CR3). You’ll work flexible bank shifts — days, nights and weekends — supporting adults who are physically frail or living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, providing short-stay, long-term and award-winning end-of-life care in a CQC-rated Good service with Platinum Gold Standards Framework recognition. The role is permanent, part-time and flexible; pay is £14.03 per hour (£12.52 plus a 12.1% annual leave allowance). Day-to-day you’ll offer practical and emotional support, assist with medical and welfare needs, maintain a safe, clean environment, record and report observations, and help people retain independence. This position suits confident, compassionate carers who communicate well, work as part of a team and want to grow their skills — a DBS check is required and sponsorship is not currently available.
