Care in Mind are looking for Bank Mental Health Support Workers to join Lyndhurst Residential in Liversedge, West Yorkshire, offering £12.60 per hour on a zero‑hours bank contract. You’ll support young people aged 16–30 with high levels of need — including self‑harm, challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties — using a therapeutic approach that helps them build life skills and move towards independent living. Day‑to‑day duties include supporting education and household tasks, administering medication, keeping online care records up to date and maintaining a homely environment. No prior care experience is required; you must be able to write basic reports, communicate clearly, use simple IT systems and keep professional boundaries, while remaining calm in emergencies. Full induction, paid training and an offered DBS check mean you’ll be ready and supported from day one, with ongoing mentoring from our residential and clinical teams.
