Vernova Healthcare Community Interest Company is seeking a BANK Phlebotomist to join their team at Waters Green Medical Centre in Macclesfield. This role requires flexible availability to cover planned and short-term absences during weekday sessions from Monday to Friday, with hours typically from 7.45 am to 3.30 pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing venepuncture, preparing blood samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring that samples are stored and labelled correctly in compliance with established procedures. Strong attention to infection prevention and control standards, as well as excellent patient interaction and comfort, is essential.

The position also involves contributing to clinic organisation, including managing stock control for phlebotomy consumables and conducting regular audits of clinic facilities. Candidates must have prior experience in venepuncture and will be expected to maintain high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to safety protocols.
