Work as a Bank Staff Nurse for Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust across Lewisham Hospital (SE13 6LH) and Queen Elizabeth Hospital (SE18 4QH). This bank role offers flexible day and night shifts across many specialities and general clinical areas, with pay at £19.05 per hour and weekly pay via e-payslips. Duties include practising in line with the NMC Code, assessing and planning patient care, admissions and discharges, using phlebotomy and cannulation skills where competent, liaising with the multi‑disciplinary team and supporting ward managers to maintain high standards on the ward.
This post is aimed at NMC‑registered nurses with a minimum of six months’ post‑registration experience in an acute or general hospital setting (or equivalent). The in‑house bank gives you priority over agency staff and is open seven days a week, offering structured mentoring, staff development and support with revalidation — a great fit for carers seeking reliable income and flexible hours.
