Job description
Business Support Administrator with Devon Partnership NHS Trust, based at the Health and Wellbeing Clinic, North Devon District Hospital (Raleigh Park, Barnstaple, EX31). This permanent, part-time role (Band 3, salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) is for two days a week — Mondays and Tuesdays — with usual hours 08:00–16:00 (flexible by arrangement). You will provide vital administrative support to the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team, helping clinicians manage home-based assessments and crisis interventions. Core duties include comprehensive diary management for Consultants and Doctors, arranging meetings and taking minutes, recording and following up actions, maintaining attendance and staffing records, entering complex and confidential information onto electronic patient records, and supporting finance and office procedures. Training is provided to help you develop within the role.
This role suits experienced administrators or those with relevant qualifications (Business Administration Level 3/T Level or equivalent and GCSE English), good intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and electronic record systems, and a calm, organised approach to busy, sometimes sensitive work. Previous healthcare or social care admin experience and minute-taking are advantageous. Devon Partnership Trust is an inclusive employer, a Disability Confident Leader, and welcomes applications from people with lived experience of mental health, neurodiversity or learning disabilities; flexible working is considered to fit caring responsibilities.
