As a Cancer Navigator with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust based at Charing Cross Hospital (W6), you will deliver telephone-based, Macmillan-supported coordination for people affected by cancer, their families and external healthcare teams. The role is a single point of access across referral and treatment pathways: you will schedule and confirm appointments, provide clear two‑way communication with patients and GPs, signpost to support services and help people self-manage during their hospital journey. This post suits someone with experience supporting people with complex holistic needs, a sound understanding of cancer, excellent and sensitive communication skills and good IT ability; previous NHS experience is an advantage but not essential. You will be part of a close-knit team of Navigators, supported by the Macmillan Patient Support Supervisor, working across clinical and administrative boundaries to keep care running smoothly.

This permanent, full‑time Band 4 role (salary £33,094–£36,195 pa) offers structured career development, flexible working options, wellbeing support and a range of optional staff benefits such as Cycle to Work and season ticket loans. Imperial is committed to equal opportunities and is particularly welcoming to women and those with caring responsibilities — part‑time or job‑share arrangements will be considered, and Skilled Worker sponsorship applications are welcome. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.
