Play a vital role within County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust as a Cancer Pathway Support Officer, based at University Hospital of North Durham (DH1) with opportunities to work from Darlington Memorial Hospital. This full‑time, permanent Band 3 position (£24,937–£26,598) combines precise administrative work with meaningful impact: you will track patients referred with suspected cancer, enter and maintain pathway data, prepare and distribute information for site‑specific MDT meetings, and after training record live meeting summaries projected to clinicians. The role is developmental — you’ll be trained to take responsibility for an allocated MDT — and requires strong note‑taking, IT skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while handling sensitive information with confidentiality. A DBS check and GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are essential; prior NHS administration experience is desirable.
