Pay: £12.00p/h
Shifts: 8am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm a combination of the two.
This role is for 28.5 hours.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team in Belong Wigan.
About the Role:
As a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will be providing a range of personal and practical care to our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for older people
- Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
- Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household
- Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
- Be alert to residents' needs, health and wellbeing
- Respect the residents' dignity and privacy
- Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
- Maintain accurate records for each resident
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
