You will be working in a beautiful care home that cares for elderly residents living with a range of age-related illnesses including Dementia and Alzheimers. Your Duties include: - Following personal care plans - Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home - General housekeeping and domestic duties - Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intakes - Helping patients remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes - Assisting with daily living activities including morning and night-time routines - Working alongside support workers and care works to provide a complex care package tailored to individual needs - Toileting/bed bathing and strip washing the service users We are looking for people who have a talent for quickly developing good relationships, display patience and understanding and put the quality of life of the residents at the forefront of their daily work! To apply for this role you must; - Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting - Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control) - Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service. - Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas - Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home. - Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep! This role offers immediate start, ongoing work opportunities. You will be working from 21:00 to 07:00 on days that suit you between Monday to Sunday. You will be paid: £12.75 per hour (Mon-Fri) £13.25 per hour (Sat and Sun)
