Job description
Avery Healthcare in Stamford (PE9) is looking for warm, reliable Care Assistants to work on a permanent basis, with one full-time role (39 hours) and a part-time role (22 hours) available. Pay is £12.27 per hour. Each day you’ll support residents with personal care and hygiene, promote independence and dignity, and work closely with the team to maintain continuity of care. You will be expected to recognise and escalate clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection, practise safe systems of work and act courteously towards residents and visitors. No previous experience is required — Avery provides a thorough induction and ongoing training programme to build your confidence and skills in a supportive, respectful environment.
This role will suit compassionate, organised people — particularly women carers who enjoy close, person-centred work and want a stable, values-led employer. Avery is one of the UK’s leading luxury care-home providers, proud of its caring, honest and accountable culture and strong opportunities for development across more than 100 homes. A DBS disclosure check is required (the cost is met by Avery) and you will need to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. If this sounds like the right move for you, please click the “Apply Now” button shown alongside this advert to apply; you can also find Avery roles on jobsincare.com.
