As a care assistant the hours you work will be PAID WEEKLY! The home is in Derby close to the local amenities and with good public transport links. You will be caring for up to 44 elderly service users that suffer with age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Duties include: - Following personal care plans - Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home - General housekeeping and domestic duties - Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intakes - Helping patients remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes - Assisting with daily living activities including morning and night-time routines - Working alongside support workers and care works to provide a complex care package tailored to individual needs - Toileting/bed bathing and strip washing the service users If you want to make a measurable difference in a person’s life, whilst growing your care experience – then APPLY TODAY AND INTERVIEW AS EARLY AS TOMORROW! To apply for this role you must; - Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting - Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control) - Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service. - Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas - Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home. - Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep! This role offers immediate start, ongoing work opportunities. Typical hours o Saturday and/or Sunday will include: 07:00 to 14:30 14:30 to 21:00 07:00 to 21:00 You will be paid £12.75 per hour
