Ravenscroft Medical Centre rztAiaw6
Job description
Ravenscroft Medical Centre, based at Grovemead Health Centre in NW4, is seeking a reliable, organised Care Coordinator to support patients and clinical staff across PCN5 (six GP practices in Barnet). This full-time role (37.5 hours) suits someone who enjoys combining hands-on care with administration: you will guide patients to the right service, manage patient recalls, book clinics, process referrals and correspondence, update medical records and chase test results. The job involves front-desk duties, helping with prescriptions and clinic bookings, plus supporting extended access services with some evening shifts and one weekend a month. Training is provided, so IT confidence, attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems are key — experience in GP or NHS settings and handling confidential information is desirable, and a DBS check will be required.
This fixed-term position (one year) pays £13 per hour and offers the chance to use your caring skills in a busy, supportive primary care network that values teamwork and professional development. You’ll cover colleagues when needed, contribute to quality and safety, and work within clear confidentiality and equality procedures. If you’re a compassionate, organised carer or admin professional who prefers variety and purpose in your day, click the "Apply Now" button alongside this advert to apply via jobsincare.com.
