Job description
Avery Healthcare Group Ltd, based in Witherwack (SR5), is recruiting a Care Home Administrator for a permanent, full-time role at one of its luxury elderly care homes. The post involves supporting the General Manager, staff and residents with day-to-day administration: collecting data for invoicing and chasing arrears, preparing weekly/monthly payroll returns, providing clerical support, and coordinating recruitment and staff onboarding. The role pays £12.50 per hour and requires a minimum of three years' business administration experience, good IT skills, a professional telephone manner, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise. A DBS disclosure is required (the cost will be met by Avery) and you must be able to show eligibility to work in the UK.
This position suits caring, organised people — particularly women carers looking to move into or progress within administration while staying close to frontline care — who want meaningful, steady work that directly improves residents’ day-to-day experience. Avery offers a supportive, respectful culture across a growing network of homes, with opportunities to learn and develop within an award‑winning team.
