Would you like to play a vital role in caring for our patients?
We are recruiting to adult inpatient wards (surgical, medical and care of the elderly) plus other clinical areas (to be discussed at interview)
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are capable of providing excellent care to patients in a busy, challenging and rewarding environment. Care experience preferred, full training and induction provided. Our teams at HDFT are supportive and friendly and will always assist new staff where needed.

This is a full time role and will require full flexibility in terms of working a mix of shifts. It is essential that you can work a mix of weekdays, weekends, both days and nights (see times below) including bank holidays and Christmas.
They maintain the patient's dignity and self-respect at all times and achieving a high standard of care.
Our Care Support Workers have an allocated team but they may be expected to work in different areas within the hospital as required.
Care Support Workers are accountable for ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered and will constantly promote: patient safety, effective care and a positive patient experience at each stage of the patient’s journey.

- Early – 07:15 to 15:15
- Late – 12:15 to 20:15hrs
- Night – 19:45hrs to 07:45hrs
- Long Day – 07:15hrs to 20:15h
- Please note we cannot offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for Care Support Worker roles***
