This role is pivotal in supporting service delivery and transformation across critical care sectors. Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement strategy and delivery across health and social care categories, ensuring compliance with PA23 and PSR. Provide leadership to a small team, ensuring continuity of service and adapting to organisational change. Engage confidently with stakeholders to build trust and deliver consistent, high-quality procurement advice. Ensure robust governance and planning processes are in place to support procurement activity. Align category strategies with Council objectives and regulatory requirements. Skills & Experience Required: Strong experience in procurement within: Adults & Children's Services and Health & Social Care In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement regulations, including PA23 (completion of 10-module training essential), and PSR. Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage change and deliver outcomes in a complex, evolving environment.
