Make a practical, caring contribution to patients’ recovery as a Catering Services Assistant with Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust at Pershore Hospital (WR10). This part‑time, permanent Band 2 role (£24,465 pro rata / £12.51 per hour) places you in a busy, varied catering team working closely with dietetics and clinical staff to deliver nutritionally balanced meals that meet national standards and high environmental‑health audit scores. Day‑to‑day duties include taking patient meal orders face‑to‑face, serving meals, clearing and washing up, food preparation, receiving and checking deliveries, stock control and labelling, and maintaining hygiene and infection‑control standards. Full training and guidance are provided and you will work in a supportive team where practical experience of catering is valued; the post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
