Job summary
We are seeking an experienced, visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our clinical strategy and ensure outstanding patient care across our network. As a key member of our Executive Team, you will play a pivotal role in medical leadership, regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Quality
- Lead and enhance the quality of care and patient safety across all sites.
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and KPIs.
- Promote a culture of clinical excellence, ethics, and accountability.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk
- Ensure full compliance with NHS, CQC, GMC, and UK healthcare standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Nursing and Quality on audits and inspections.
- Mitigate clinical risks and ensure continuous quality improvement.
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Shape and deliver Omnes’ medical strategy in line with organisational goals.
- Identify new service lines including NHS contracts, private care, and digital innovations.
- Represent Omnes in ICS partnerships, NHS forums, and external networks.
Medical Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of senior clinicians.
- Collaborate with Operations Directors to support clinical performance.
