Key Requirements - Experience supporting children or adults with disabilities, especially those with PMLD, ASD, and non-verbal needs, is highly desirable. - A relevant qualification such as a Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification, Care qualification, or equivalent. - Compassion, patience, and resilience with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. - Strong teamwork and communication skills, including adapting to different communication styles. - A positive and caring approach, with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively. Hours 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (part-time applications also welcomed) If you are ready to make a lasting impact on the lives of children with disabilities, we would love to hear from you. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
