Flexible shift options - We can offer block shift bookings for long day sleep shifts (2/3/4/5 days of straight shifts) Opportunities to develop your skills with ongoing training and support Location: Newcastle About the role: As a Children & Young People's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting young people within residential settings and the community. Working with at least 2:1 staffing ratio, you'll be ensuring safety, stability, and quality care always. You'll be: - Building positive, trusting relationships with young people. - Supporting daily routines (from school runs and appointments to bedtimes and activities). - Encouraging independence and personal development. - Keeping accurate daily records (emotions, routines, activities, food diaries, and more). - Helping manage money responsibly and keeping receipts. - Identifying and reporting any safeguarding concerns. - Supporting with personal care and household tasks when needed. - Handling behaviour that challenges with patience, resilience, and confidence.
