As a Children and Young People's Support Worker with senploy in North Shields you’ll support young people in residential settings and the community, working largely on a 2:1 staffing ratio to maintain safety, stability and continuity of care. This full‑time temporary role involves day, night and sleep shifts (typical patterns include 8am–8pm, 8pm–8am and 8am–11pm plus sleep shifts), supporting routines from school runs and appointments to bedtimes and activities, encouraging independence, assisting with personal care and household tasks where needed, keeping clear daily records and identifying safeguarding concerns.
