An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Lochshell PDS Dental Clinic, Wick Business Park Wick.
Dental Nurse qualification is essential, SVQ Dental Nursing Level 3 or NEBDN Dental Nursing Qualification along with registration with the General Dental Council.
Evidence of post qualification experience as a dental nurse is required. Management qualification or working towards is preferable along with experience of managing/leading a team.
Current knowledge of NHSH policies and procedures and experience of a clinical administration system would be beneficial. Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are key to this post.
This post will require you to travel on occasion to other clinics within NHSH area to provide clinical support.
Full current driving license and use of car for work purposes is essential.
This is a permanent, 37 hours per week worked Monday - Friday.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
