Lead and shape imaging services across University Hospitals of North Midlands (Royal Stoke and County Hospital) from the Stoke-on-Trent ST4 6QG site as Clinical Director of Imaging. This part-time, fixed‑term consultant post (3 years) combines clinical leadership, strategic planning and hands-on performance management. You will set clinical direction for the directorate, manage medical job‑planning and performance, share responsibility for the Imaging budget with Heads of Operations and Nursing, and drive productivity and efficiency across the multidisciplinary team. The role involves clinical governance, contributing to Care Group and Trust strategies and representing the department at senior Trust leadership forums. Salary band is £109,725–£145,478 with an annual honorarium of £16,794.
This post is for an experienced senior clinical practitioner — for example a Medical Consultant, Nurse Consultant or SAS Doctor — with full UK professional registration and speciality accreditation. You should have a proven track record of leading change, managing resources and working with internal and external stakeholders. Appointment includes interview, psychometric testing and a stakeholder event; the post is subject to a DBS check and skilled worker sponsorship may be considered.
