High‑volume, hands‑on microvascular breast reconstruction experience.
Two flexible six‑month start dates (Feb or Aug 2026) — good for carers planning commitments.

Two six‑month, full‑time Clinical Fellow posts in Microsurgical Breast Reconstruction are available at North Bristol NHS Trust, Southmead Hospital (Bristol BS10 5NB), with start dates in February 2026 and August 2026. These posts are aimed at SpR/ST6–7 level candidates who have passed FRCS (Plast), hold GMC registration with a licence to practise and have experience of UK hospital systems or equivalent. The role is Royal College approved and recognised for training by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Plastic Surgery; salary is £70,425 per annum and skilled worker sponsorship applications will be considered.
The role offers hands‑on microvascular breast reconstruction and secondary breast operations, attendance at specialist breast reconstruction clinics and an oncoplastic MDT, plus involvement in regional junior doctor teaching and clinical audit with presentations at Clinical Governance. There is additional protected opportunity to gain management and theatre division experience to support preparation for consultant interview. This fixed‑term post is ideal for surgeons seeking concentrated operative exposure, explicit training recognition and CV‑building leadership experience.
