Play a pivotal role in patient safety and quality as Clinical Governance Coordinator at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT, based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary (DN2 5LT). You will support the Divisional Senior Leadership Team, Divisional Clinical Governance Lead and Quality Assurance & Compliance Lead to embed governance across multiple specialities. Day‑to‑day you will organise and record meetings, prepare agendas and reports, follow up actions to closure after incidents and complaints, champion Datix use and prepare accurate information to provide assurance to the Trust Board and national regulators. This is a part‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term Band 4 post (£27,485–£30,162 pro rata).
This role is well suited to organised, forward‑thinking communicators — especially experienced carers or administrators keen to focus on clinical governance, learning and improvement. The Trust supports flexible working where possible, offers a broad programme of learning and development, NHS pension and staff benefits, and an inclusive working culture that values reliability and collaboration. A DBS check is required and the role asks for GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with willingness to work towards diploma level.
