As Clinical Lead for NHS Northumberland Talking Therapies, based at 4 Telford Court, Morpeth NE61 2DB, you will deliver specialist psychological assessment and high‑intensity therapy for adults at step 4, while providing strategic clinical leadership. This permanent, full‑time post (37.5 hours) is NHS Agenda for Change Band 8b (salary £64,445–£74,896), offers hybrid working between home and sites, and involves delivering NICE‑compliant treatments by telephone, in groups, face‑to‑face and via digital options. You will make autonomous clinical decisions, undertake risk assessment and management, write assessment and discharge reports, and provide expert advice to other professionals.
This role suits experienced High Intensity or CBT therapists (minimum one year post‑qualification; BABCP‑accreditable where required) who want to combine hands‑on clinical practice with mentoring, service development and partnership working. Mental Health Matters is a people‑focused charity with over 40 years’ experience; you will jointly plan services with the Service Manager, support deputy leads and senior clinicians, and represent the service at local, regional and national forums.
