Embark on a fulfilling journey with The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care, contributing to groundbreaking approaches in cancer care. Help bridge hospital care and community support through the Hospital2Home Service, ensuring patients leaving the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea receive continuous, exemplary care at home. Your role will be instrumental in guiding patients, carers, and healthcare professionals through seamless transitions, managing comprehensive care plans, and acting with sensitivity to diverse patient needs. With opportunities to work across Chelsea and Sutton, you'll engage in telephone case conferences, symptom control, and collaborative discharge planning—all whilst driving impactful research and audits that shape the future of palliative care.
Ideal candidates will be registered nurses with over three years of experience in cancer or palliative care, holding at least a degree and some post-registration qualifications in education and training.
