Clinical Pharmacist for the North Oxfordshire Rural Alliance (NORA) PCN — a hands-on, patient-facing role across five rural surgeries (Chipping Norton, Deddington, Bloxham, Cropredy and Shipton-under-Wychwood). You will lead clinical medication reviews for people with multimorbidity and complex polypharmacy, manage care‑home and domiciliary caseloads, reconcile medicines after hospital discharge and run a telephone medicines helpline. The post involves medicines optimisation, risk stratification, audits and quality‑improvement work, plus development of new pathways and support for CQC compliance. You’ll be mentored by a Senior Clinical Pharmacist and become part of one of Oxfordshire’s largest PCN pharmacy teams — monthly clinical teaching, peer support and regular social events are built in. The initial base will be either Chipping Norton or Deddington and the role is permanent, full‑time with salary dependent on experience.

This opportunity suits qualified pharmacists with an undergraduate pharmacy degree and current GPhC registration who are enrolled on, or willing to undertake, the CPPE pathway (a mandatory condition of employment). Support is provided to progress to independent prescribing. Flexible working is considered to help balance home and work life, though occasional weekday evenings may be required to provide enhanced patient access. If you want a practical, community‑centred role that directly improves medicines safety for older people, care‑home residents and vulnerable housebound patients — with strong mentorship and career development — click the "Apply Now" button on this page to apply via jobsincare.com.
