Be part of a specialist nuclear medicine team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust) in Northwood, HA6 2RN. This Clinical Scientist role combines hands‑on work with diagnostic imaging, in‑vitro tests and cutting‑edge molecular radiotherapies (I‑131, Ra‑223 and Lu‑177 PSMA). You will provide scientific and radiation protection support across the service, develop SPECT/CT image processing and dosimetry protocols, and — after a training period — administer oral radionuclide therapies for thyroid disease while supporting technologists and radiographers. The post is Band 7 (salary £53,751–£60,651) with a 15% High Cost Area Supplement (min £4,552; max £5,735 pa pro rata), permanent, full‑time and subject to DBS and current UK professional registration.
