Clinical Scientist – Radiotherapy Physics at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, Ipswich (IP4 5PD). Play a central role in a busy, multi-disciplinary radiotherapy service that treats over 3,000 patients a year across Ipswich and Colchester. You’ll carry out quality assurance of radiotherapy equipment, routine treatment planning, computing support and contribute to both external beam and molecular radiotherapy under the lead physicist. Work with a supportive team of physicists, engineers, radiographers and clinicians using advanced kit — including TrueBeam and Ethos linacs, Eclipse planning, a Varian Aria cloud environment, a Phillips Big Bore CT with TumourLoc and AI-assisted delineation, plus dedicated MR radiotherapy slots — and be involved in research and development that improves patient care.

This permanent, full-time Band 7 post (salary £47,810–£54,710) suits someone with a Masters in Medical Physics (or equivalent) and HCPC registration — or who can achieve registration within six months.
