As a Clinical Support Worker in Clinical Haematology based in Walsall (WS2 9PS), you will deliver hands‑on personal care and practical support to patients, their families and the clinical team. This full‑time, permanent role (salary £24,465 pa) involves welcoming and orientating patients, assisting with washing, dressing and pressure‑area care, supporting nutrition and hydration, recording observations such as fluid and dietary intake, and helping with safe patient transfers and use of mobility equipment. You will work under the direction of registered practitioners, take part in emergency responses, maintain clinic rooms and equipment, follow infection‑prevention procedures and use IT systems to record patient information.
