Job description
Step into a valued hands-on role as a Clinical Support Worker with University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, based at Royal Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST4). This permanent, full-time position (Agenda for Change Band 2, £24,465 per year) suits caring, organised people with at least six months’ experience in a care setting. You will provide basic patient care, chaperone during examinations, help manage clinic rooms (housekeeping and restocking), and support clerical tasks including patient notes and referrals. The role calls for good numeracy, literacy and basic computer/keyboard skills, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and completion of the Care Certificate within 12 weeks; all new staff complete corporate and Care Coach inductions and work towards a vocational qualification as part of their development.
