Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Hull York Medical School teaching team within York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS FT. The post is offered for a 12 month fixed term with possible extension by mutual agreement. Hours can be flexible around the needs of the service and may involve some travel to other HYMS teaching sites. A fixed clinical shift as part of the post is also encouraged.

https://jobsincare.com/job/jbliunQ9 successful applicants will be responsible for assisting and developing the delivery of the Hull York Medical School’s curriculum on the MBBS programme, contributing to the development of relevant and innovative pedagogical methods to maximise student learning. The role could include simulation, bedside teaching, prescribing teaching, communication skills and also a potential research focus. There will also be an opportunity to complete a part-funded Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions Education (PGCertHPE) qualification at Hull York Medical School. The work is challenging, varied and a valuable addition to your professional development and career.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated and interested in education, preferably with experience of delivering near-peer medical education. You should possess proven communication and interpersonal skills. It is important you are comfortable engaging with students, patients and staff at all levels.
