Job description
Make your mark as a Communications Assistant with One Care (BNSSG) C.I.C., based in Whitchurch (BS14). Working in a small, ambitious Communications and Engagement team, you’ll help create, schedule and proof content across websites, social media, newsletters and printed materials, update CMS pages, and coordinate bulletins for member practices. Day-to-day tasks include inbox triage, basic design and formatting using approved templates, supporting events and campaigns, maintaining mailing lists and databases, and pulling together analytics and engagement reports. Attention to detail, strong writing and editing, familiarity with digital tools (CMS, Mailchimp or equivalent, Microsoft Office) and a user-centred approach to accessibility are central to the role.
This permanent, part‑time role (22.5 hours a week, pro rata) offers a salary range of £25,258–£29,929 FTE and flexible working to fit caring responsibilities or family life — ideal for carers and women seeking meaningful, local work with development potential in communications. Experience in healthcare or the public sector, basic design skills (Canva/Adobe) and a proactive, organised attitude will help you thrive while supporting 69 GP partnerships that care for over a million patients in BNSSG. If you want hands‑on experience in digital content, reporting and stakeholder support within a purpose‑driven organisation, click the "Apply Now" button to apply via jobsincare.com.
