Job description
Play a central role in Whittington Hospital NHS Trust’s Central Booking Service as Community Administrative Support, based at Dartmouth Park Hill, London N19. You will manage referrals and appointments for adult community services, register and upload new patient records onto RiO and Medway, book interpreters and transport, confirm attendances, process outcomes and discharges, and carry out initial triage where required. The post demands excellent telephone and face‑to‑face customer care, confident use of patient record systems, and occasional travel across Whittington Health sites in Haringey and Islington. Hours may be organised across a shift pattern between 08:00–20:00, Monday–Sunday including bank holidays, and the role includes line management of junior colleagues and working as part of a busy support team. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.
