Occupational Requirement: Due to the nature of this role, which includes providing intimate personal care to a female service user in line with individual care plans and safeguarding requirements, this post is restricted to female applicants under Schedule 9, Equality At 2We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Mental Health Support Worker to provide high-quality assistance.
Your role will be working with a female service user with a diagnosis of Autism (ASD), mental health and anxiety needs.

Skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with service users, colleagues, and external professionals.
Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and completing documentation efficiently.

Experience/ Requirements
Minimum 25 years of age due to adapted vehicle insurance requirement
Previous mental healthcare experience; 1 year minimum (required)
Clean UK Driving Licence (required)

Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring the dignity and respect of all service users.
Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, PEG medication, and support to attend appointments.
Foster a supportive environment by encouraging social interaction and participation in community activities.
Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the health or behaviour of service users.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and colleagues to ensure comprehensive support tailored to each individual's needs.
Promote safety protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Support individuals in developing skills that enhance their independence and confidence.
