Step into a Band 6 Community Staff Nurse role with the South Lakes Older Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Kendal. This permanent, part‑time post (22.5 hours per week) offers a pro‑rata salary of £38,682–£46,580 and is ideal for experienced nurses with leadership skills and a calm, caring approach to older people’s mental health, including dementia. You will work across the multi‑disciplinary team and with primary/secondary care, Adult Social Care and voluntary sector partners to assess, plan, implement and evaluate person‑centred care. A key part of the role is supporting and educating care homes to promote wellbeing and recovery; previous experience in a care‑home setting is desirable but not essential.
